Grey's Colonial Gardens

Grey’s Colonial Gardens opened in 1997 and now has 15 independent senior living apartments for tenants ages 62 and over. There are studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom apartments at this location. There is a coin-operated laundry in the building. No stairs—the apartments are all at ground level. Some apartments have wheelchair accessible showers. All apartments include kitchen appliances, dishwashers, refrigerator, stoves and microwaves. Utilities (electric, trash pickup, water and sewage) are included in the monthly rent. Building is pet free and smoke free.Off street parking is included. There is a community room open to all apartment tenants. It may be used by tenants for birthday parties and holiday get togethers. There is a courtyard and a gazebo behind the building overlooking a large backyard with trees and fields where deer and turkeys often provide a pleasant sight for wildlife enthusiasts. This location is in a beautiful country setting while only 2 miles from restaurants and stores in West Kittanning.Bus service provided by the county transit is available for trips to doctor appointments at a very minimal fee (currently under $5).
